The tripod is a combination of 3 struts secured to a tripod lid (top) and secured on the bottom with 3 individual base plates. It forms a high-strength point for both confined space and aerial rope rescue.

The durable, lightweight, aluminum tripod features auto-locking, telescoping legs. Cast aluminum tripod head comes complete with two integrated locking snaphooks for attachment of pulleys or auxiliary equipment. Each of the tripod’s legs may be independently adjusted to compensate for uneven terrain using quick insert locking pins. Anti-skid rubber feet and leg chains help make Gemtor tripods OSHA compliant anchorages capable of supporting 5,000 lbs.

Gemtor complete non-entry confined space retrieval systems come complete with everything you need to enter a vertical confined space with an acceptable means of access, except a full-body harness which should be selected based on application needs and user preferences. If there is no acceptable means of access, then a Man-Rated winch such as the Model # MRW-50 will also need to be added to the system.

It's permanent base can be mounted to steel flooring or concrete, or on the back of a truck and is especially useful for tank entry or over edges. A removable boom that rotates 360º easily attaches to the base and can be locked in any position to offer flexibility for maneuvering equipment or a worker. Additional bases can be ordered (see below) and one or more booms can be moved among many permanently installed bases.

Gemtor complete non-entry confined space retrieval systems come complete with everything you need to enter a vertical confined space with an acceptable means of access, except a full-body harness which should be selected based on application needs and user preferences. Ideal for situations where the use of a tripod is either impractical or impossible. It is easy to set-up and collapse and each leg is independently adjustable to compensate for uneven terrain. The removable boom rotates 360º and locks in any position.

Designed as an out-of-the-bag rescue system, this kit combines a remote hook and extension pole with a rescue utility system and includes an adjustable pole, 6 feet (1.8m) to 12 feet (3.6m) (P/N SFP675-009), a pole adapter (P/N SCE109-001) that converts pole to hold remote hook, a remote hook (P/N SRCA401) for remote attachment, a storage bag (P/N SRB675-009) for pole and remote hook and a rescue utility system (P/N SRS15-200) a raising and lowering system with a 4:1 mechanical advantage.
