    This design to assist in the controlled lifting of heavy loads in the demanding conditions often encountered in rope rescue. This type is most often employed in systems that are used to lift and lower live loads in rescue operations. The work of raising a load as part of a mechanical advantage system is much easier and safer by using the Advance HX. Engage the cam and the rope will only travel in one disrection.. disengage the cam and the Advance HX works as a standard double pulley. Heavy rescue loads are raised by pulling on the tail end of the rope.
