  Press Release Oct 2007: MSA’s PremAire® Cadet Escape Combination Supplied-Air Respirator with Escape Cylinder is an economical respirator incorporating a streamlined, lightweight design. Escape cylinders are rated at five-, 10- and 15-minutes. Assembly offers a first-stage regulator and cylinder valve within one housing, creating a small size and profile less likely to snag when working in tight places. Low-profile escape cylinders can be worn on either the right or left hip. The NIOSH-approved PremAire® Cadet Escape Combination Supplied-Air Respirator with Cylinder is compatible with both the Ultra Elite or Advantage 4000 Facepiece.
The NIOSH-approved PremAire Cadet Escade Respirator is the most versatile, comfortable and affordable combination respirator available. A new streamlined regulator design offers a first-stage regulator and cylinder valve within one compact assembly, creating a very small size and profile less likely to snag when in tight places. Applications include chemical and petrochemical, hazardous materials and confined space entry. |

It combines many new features that have not been offered in a single conbination respirator platform before:
  • Low-Profile escape cyliners that can be worn on the right or left hip
  • Ultra Elite Facepiece or the new Advantage 4000 Facepiece with unique conversion capability: 3 sizes, Hycar or Silicone, Rubber spider or net type head harnesses
  • Cylinders are available ain choice of 5, 10 or 15 min (15 min carbon only) durations: Aluminum or carbon fiber cylinders
  • Proven FireHawk MMR Regulator
  • Harness available in Nylon or Kevlar
