Steel cables are not appropriate for fall arrest unless used as part of a fall arrest system incorporating an energy absorbing component. Positioning lines are available in 1/4" diameter, 7 x 19, galvanized (7,000 lb. test)wire rope. A locking snaphook is permanently attached at each end. An available nylon covering extends cable life and protects against abrasion, dirt, grit, and moisture. Coated diameter is 5/16".
