  INCIDENT COMMAND SYSTEM ORIENTATION (I-100)TRAINING

  • 2 Hour Training Program

    This 2-hour orientation is intended for personnel assigned to an incident or event who have a minimum requirement for understanding the Incident Command System. This program reviews the ICS organization, basic terminology and common responsibilities. It will provide the students enough information about the Incident Command System to enable them to work in a supportive role at an incident or event, or to support an incident from an off-site location.

  • BASIC INCIDENT COMMAND SYSTEM TRAINING (I-200)

  • 12 Hour Training Program

    This 12-hour program consists of five modules introducing the students to the principals associated with the Incident Command System. It covers organizations, facilities, resource terminology, common responsibilities and general instructions associated with an incident or event. This program is designed for supervisory-level personnel or anyone who has the potential to find themselves "in command" of an incident or event.

  • HOSPITAL EMERGENCY INCIDENT COMMAND SYSTEM TRAINING (HEICS)

  • 8 Hour Training Program

    Confusion and chaos are commonly experienced by the hospital at the onset of a medical disaster. However, these negative effects can be minimized if management responds quickly with structure and a focused direction of activities. The Hospital Emergency Incident Command System which employs a logical management structure, defined responsibilities, clear reporting channels, and a common nomenclature to help unify hospitals with other emergency responders. HEICS is fast becoming the standard for health care disaster response.
