    Despite its diminutive size the TR Pulley can handle full-sized work loads and is ideally suited for use with the very popular SMC Aluminum Locking D Carabiner. While most people will use the TR Pulley with lightweight aluminum carabiners the TR Pulley can be paired up with a rescue carabiner as large as the SMC Large Steel Locking Carabiner. The bell-shaped top hole allows the carabiner to be rotated freely and completely. A durable aluminum sheave is paired with a true Oilite Bearing on a zinc-coated axle for reliable performance at a reasonable cost. Oilite Bearings are self-lubricating and highly wear and corrosion resistant.     Trolley Brake Block A perfect companion to our Trolley. Carved from dense Appalachian hardwood and sealed with an environmentally safe preservative. The striking surface is crafted from ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, noted for it's exceptional wear resistance. Steel hardware and a galvanized eye bolt round out the package.

    User Directions:The brake block is constructed of 2 pieces of hardwood bolted together with a yellow striking surface. You unbolt the blocks, put your cable through the middle and re-secure the blocks. You need to have 2 pieces of industrial shock cord of equal lengths, which you attach to the eye bolt. These are what you use to anchor the brake block, whether it be to a building, the ground, etc. The brake block must be set at least 20-30' from the end of the zip line. Once the brake block is secure, the trolley would slide down the cable and srike the yellow surface which would essentially stop it.

    The Aztek system was developed in Arizona based Ropes that Rescue Ltd rigging programs around the world. These, configured as "set-of-fours" (double blocks) will enable the rescue practitioner greater versatility in a personal mechanical advantage (PMA) for rescue and general rigging. The swivel Omni pulleys (blocks) are hewn from a solid block of high strength aluminum and are engineered with great pride to withstand over 8,000 lbs (36kN) of tensile force end to end. Sterling Rope Company has also designed sewn products for these pulleys including the 8mm restraint cord, rated at 4,270 lbs (19kN) and both ratchets in two colors, and shock absorber/restraint cords.

    The set of two blocks are different colors for ease of identification. Turn the set-of-fours one way and you have a 5:1 mechanical advantage. Turn it around and a 4:1 w/change of direction is the result, making this PMA extremely versatile.

    Also, the progress capture ratchet prusik can be attached at either end (orange to orange, or blue to blue). The progress capture prusiks are laced onto the restraint cord and then formed into a directional prusik hitch (3 on 2), which prevents the inadvertent loss of the prusic once assembled. One quick pin is sold with each set of blocks. Additional pins may be purchased if needed or if one wished to hold a spare in the opposite block.

    NOTE: Generally, 2 Aztec Pulleys would be used together with 1 Rope Cover and 1 Quick Release Pin 1/4"

    Stainless steel sideplates put the CMI Highline pulley a cut above the rest, providing the highest strength to weight ratio of any carriage style pulley. Extra wide 3" sheave easily passes knots in 1/2" rope. Large rigging hole accepts up to 3 carabiners, two smaller holes are for tagline attachment. Two pins stowed directly on the sideplates allow it to be used as a high strength tie-off.
