RAPID INTERVENTION TEAM (R.I.T.) TRAINING
16 Hour Training Program
With today's technology in fire supression equipment firefighters push their PPE and penetrate deeper into fires, beyond the point of immediate egress. In Urban H.A.R.T. Rescue's R.I.T. class (or Firefighter Assistance Team FAST), students will be prepared to meet today's challenges of possibly ''rescuing your own''. Students will have a dynamic 6 hour interactive lecture covering case studies, rescue techniques, gear configuration, and many other topics. Closing the first day will include a 2 hour equipment lecture, familiarizing students with common R.I.T. equipment. On the second 8 hour day, students will conduct various skills under live fire conditions in a controlled academy setting.
