JOHN PARKER - Chief of Training. The founder of Urban H.A.R.T. Rescue, Inc. and a retired police officer with fifteen years of Emergency Service. He has participated in over 40 Vertical Rescue from 200’ – 400’. Urban HART Rescue, Inc. was founded in 1989 and has trained over 20,000 rescue, industrial and military personnel in Vertical, Confined Space, Trench, Tower and Collapse Rescue Operation. Urban H.A.R.T. Rescue, Inc. continues to be the leader in innovated Rescue Training Operation. Urban HART Rescue, Inc. Instructors receive in-service and operational training to continuously to improve their skill and technique.

STEVE SCHUBERT - Urban H.A.R.T. Rescue, Inc. Chief Instructor and Training Coordinator. Steve has served in the United States Marine Corp. during Desert Storm and attended the United States Marine Corp. Assault Cliff Climbers School. Steve was a member of the Presidential Guard Detachment while still in the United States Marine Corps. A member of the North Bergen Police Dept assigned to the Street Crime Unit and also a member of Tactical Unit for 9 years. As a Urban H.A.R.T. Rescue, Inc. Instructor in Technical Rescue Operation he has attained Senior Instructor Statue. He has attained Senior Instructor Statue in Vertical Rescue, Trench, Confined Space Rescue, Tower Rescue and is certified an a IRATA Level II. Steve has trained in excess of 15,000 – 20,000 rescuers across the United States and the Far East.

PATRICK BLAIR - Pat is a Arlington, Texas. Firefighter. Pat has been assigned as Rescue Instructor and Technical Rescue Team. Pat has attained the statue of Lead Instructor in Vertical Rescue, Trench, Tower Rescue, Confined Space Rescue and has attained international confident in IRATA level II. Pat has traveled throughout the United States and overseas (Saudi Arabia) during his seven year with Urban HART Rescue, Inc. He has also trained approximately 7000-9000 rescuers throughout the Unites States and overseas.

MARK WESTCOTT - Deputy Chief Mark Westcott is a 20-year veteran of the fire service. As the Dept. Training Officer for Evesham Fire Rescue in New Jersey he coordinates all the fire emergency medical services and the technical rescue training for the fire dept. Captain Westcott is a NJ State Certified Fire Instructor Level II, certified as a Uniform Construction Code-Fire Protection Specialist (HHS) and as a Uniform Fire Code-Fire Official. He instructs classes in emergency services for the Burlington County Fire Academy and Urban HART Inc. Mark Westcott has a Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Science from the University of Maryland and a Masters Degree in Public Safety Administration from St. Joseph’s University. Mark Westcott resides in Marlton, NJ with his wife Debbie and twin daughters Erika and Ashley.

THOMAS V. BYKOWSKI - Has been involved in emergency services for over 15 years. He presently serves as a Hazardous Materials Responder for the Middlesex County Hazardous Materials Unit (NJ) and is trained to the Specialist level. He began his career in emergency services as a volunteer fire fighter in 1990 with the Edison Division of Fire (NJ). Throughout his career he has received several awards and commendations. He has held several positions including as an Emergency Medical Technician with Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital EMS (NJ) and as Planning Manager/Hazardous Materials Specialist for New Jersey’s Urban Search & Rescue Task Force (NJ-TF1). Over the years, Thomas has responded to numerous man-made and natural disasters including 2001 World Trade Center Attack where he served as a Planning Manager for New Jersey US&R operations. He currently holds numerous Instructor certifications including hazardous materials, weapons of mass destruction and incident command.

DONALD TROUT - Has been involved in emergency services for over 20 years. He presently serves as a Hazardous Materials Responder for the Middlesex County Hazardous Materials Unit (NJ) and is trained to the Specialist Level. He began his career in emergency services as a volunteer with the Perth Amboy First Aid Squad (NJ) in 1982, and then the Protection Fire Company (NJ) in 1986. Throughout his career he has received several awards and commendations. Donald has held numerous positions including as an Emergency Medical Technician and PADI Dive master. Over the years, Donald has responded to numerous disasters including the World Trade Center Attacks in 2001. He currently holds numerous Instructor certifications including hazardous materials, weapons of mass destruction and fire service and technical rescue. Donald currently holds the position of Lead Instructor with Urban HART Rescue, Inc.

BRYAN WARD - Began his fire service career in 1984 as a volunteer firefighter with the Mechanicsburg and Silver Spring volunteer fire departments in Pennsylvania. He was hired as a career firefighter in 1990 with Evesham Fire-Rescue Squad in New Jersey. He worked up through the ranks and became Assistant Chief of Operations in 2003 which includes the Rope Rescue and Confined Space Team for the department. He has over 400 hours of Rope Training/Instruction and currently holds the following certifications: New Jersey Level 2 Fire Service Instructor, Live Burn Instructor, SCBA/Smokehouse Instructor, Incident Management Level II, New Jersey EMT, Certified Instructor Urban HART-Rope Rescue & Confined Space. He has also completed the following National Fire Academy courses: Instructional Methodology & Course Design.
