    Vertical Rescue I addresses not only a thorough and detailed rope rescue program, it gives a concise view of diversified knots, equipment rigging, and appropriate applications for rescue equipment. Vertical Rescue I coordinates knots, rigging, anchoring systems, hauling, raising, horizontal & vertical lowering, mechanical advantage systems, belay techniques, ascending techniques, stretcher rigging, stretcher raising & lowering, and line transfer. Vertical Rescue I is a highly structured, time-tested program that challenges the student in a rope rescue environment.

    TECHNICIAN LEVEL

    Vertical Rescue II takes the student deep into the world of rope rescue equipment and testing. A variety of techniques and procedures are presented to give the rope rescue technician the ability to better understand diverse equipment procedures and put to rest the myths of commonly discussed processes and procedures. Vertical Rescue II addresses multi-point anchoring, highline, complex rigging and anchoring systems, vertical ways, knot passing on mainlines and hauling systems, stretcher raising and lowering with single and double attendants, and the ability to address unusual situations and resolve problems through education and knowledge of abstract situations.
